As our name Shir Shalom (Song of Peace) suggests, we stand for a Judaism that is inclusive and open to all. We believe there are many authentic ways to be Jewish and that everyone will feel at home within our spiritual home in Ridgefield.
Our congregants include those exploring Judaism, Jews by choice, interfaith families, single parent families, adoptive families, multi-racial families, single people, those with physical and intellectual disabilities, and those who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender.
The Shir Shalom community strives to embrace the needs of today’s community and believes we are a stronger, more vibrant Jewish community because we fully welcome and incorporate all the diversity that defines modern Jewish life.
If you are curious about our Shir Shalom hospitality, please reach out to us at office@OurShirShalom.org and visit us any Shabbat. You are always welcome here!
